The native of rural northern Florida topped USA TODAY's country airplay chart in April with his debut single, A Little More Country Than That. Corbin says that heroes George Jones, Merle Haggard and Keith Whitley whose producer, Carson Chamberlain, also worked on the 28-year-old singer's debut inspired his approach, but, more often, people hear George Strait in his voice.
