Nashville Artists Sugarland, Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift Set To Top Billboard 200
October 27th, 2010
Billboard hasn’t officially announced it yet, but the chart keeper is saying it looks like either Sugarland or Kings of Leon will be number one this week on the Billboard 200. That’s big news for Nashville, but not as big as it’s expected to be when Taylor Swift’s new album “Speak Now” hits the charts next week. Swift is expected to achieve a blowout of possibly a million or more sales her first week!
Billboard.biz is reporting that the Nashville Superstar could top everything since 2008’s Lil Wayne debut of “Tha Carter III” hit 1,000,008. It’s hard to believe that young Swift just hasn’t been around that long. But we do need to remember that she worked hard for it from a very young age.
So we heartily congratulate the Nashville stars now leading the all-genre charts and capturing the hearts of music lovers everywhere.

I think that’s been something refreshing for them.
”Despite the many great tunesmiths in Music City, Sugarland’s songwriting met no resistance there, Nettles added.
